Identify the intended change
If the photograph only needs a better crop or modest exposure correction, ordinary editing may be enough. If you want a new outfit or setting, you are asking for a different kind of output with more details to verify.
Choose the smallest useful operation
- List what is wrong with the current picture.
- Try a simple edit for framing or brightness.
- Consider generation only for a clearly understood purpose.
- Review likeness and scene implications afterwards.
Changing a crop does not create a new event. Generating a restaurant scene can make it look as though you were photographed there. Those outputs should not be described in the same way.
Keep originals and labels
Store the real photograph separately from edited and generated versions. Charmshots's local canvas editor performs ordinary edits; do not expect it to reconstruct missing content. Choose the workflow that solves the actual problem while keeping the representation clear and honest.
