Review the practical signs
Check major changes in hair, facial hair or usual presentation. Look for a file that is too small, heavily filtered or cropped from an unrelated event.
Make a focused refresh
- Take a clear current portrait.
- Keep a flexible original and labelled exports.
- Update your main professional profiles.
- Replace the asset in your media kit or website records.
A technically good photo can still create confusion if it shows a substantially different appearance. A modest new portrait may solve that better than retouching the old one to imitate the present.
Update the surrounding information
Check biographies, role titles and credits when replacing the image. The portrait and text should tell the same current story. Keep older event pages in their historical context rather than trying to erase every legitimate past photograph from the web.
