Find a simple seat
Look for clear light and a background without distracting signs. Check the table for receipts, private information and items that block your posture.
Take a short series
- Start with a straightforward seated portrait.
- Hold a cup only if the gesture feels normal.
- Try one wider frame showing the setting.
- Review eye sharpness before finishing.
A bright window beside the table can work well, while a dark corner may produce blur. Changing seats is often more useful than adding a strong filter later.
Keep the scene truthful
Do not make the picture depend on pretending to work, read or drink something purely for status. A simple conversation with the photographer can produce a believable moment. Select one distinct café image rather than several frames that repeat the same cup, outfit and expression.
