Give the accessory a reason
Sun protection on a hike is natural context. Wearing sunglasses in every indoor portrait can obscure the expression without adding useful information.
Review the lineup
- Keep at least one recent, clearly visible face.
- Check that a hat brim does not hide the eyes.
- Use an accessory image only if it adds a distinct scene.
- Remove redundant covered-face pictures.
A beach photo with sunglasses may communicate a real outing. Pairing it with a clear everyday portrait prevents the viewer from having to guess what you look like without them.
Avoid a disguise strategy
Do not rely on accessories to conceal your current appearance. Choose pictures that would make you easy to recognise when meeting. A useful supporting image can have less facial detail, but the overall set should still be straightforward and consistent.
